Being a Superintendent is a challenging job. There is a lot of responsibility. There are around 2,200 students. The responsibility for every one of those and over 400 employees is on my shoulders. Everyday, I have to wake up knowing that I’ve got to take care of you all, but it is the most rewarding job. What we’re doing is making a difference in your life. It makes it all worthwhile. Rabun County has the reputation of being the best school system, especially in North Georgia, but most importantly, one of the best school systems in the state. on in the school system; making sure that I interact with the public in a way so they will want to support what we are doing here in the school system; making sure that I have an open ear to listen to you, your teachers, your parents, (and) the folks in our community. That is a big part of what I do is making sure that our schools reflect the values our community supports and are proud of. (My responsibilities include) making sure that I keep you safe
