always gonna be on your car radio, or on the SM dial, (including) 96.3 or 100.3. I think a lot of the future, (we’re) seeing a good bit of it now, is streaming on the internet. We stream our football games and our live events over the internet. There’s a lot of radio stations that stream their entire broadcast on the internet. You can listen to several at a time. Many of the radio stations over the internet, like “I Heart Radio,” have a lot of it. I think that’s the future. A lot of radio stations are going to stream to be able to reach a broader audience than what they have now. Rabun County Radio may eventually stream everything one day, but I don’t think they’re going to anytime soon, other than the SM dial. They’re always gonna be Rabun Radio (just) like they’ve always been. (Public Service Announce- ments) for drunk driving. – we do a lot of that during football season. “Don’t text and drive” we do a lot of those. Part of what we do as a community service is we (broadcast) those PSA’s, (and) we do the Community Calendar Ongoing Events around the county that are nonprofit. If I could improve the radio station, I would proba- bly have the programming throughout the day to be hosted live. Right now, the morning show is the only thing that is hosted live on our station. Everything else throughout the day is pre-recorded that comes to us over a satellite. What I would try to do is, if I could, (it would be a matter of how would I do it), I would hire more staff which would allow us to have the time and the personel to go live more than just 6:00-9:00 a.m. I think that would be a huge thing to improve the radio station. I think Rabun Radio is going to be around for a good long time. I don’t think that’s gonna go anywhere. I think there’s a lot of local people that depend on the radio station for information.
