#ZipHAPpy at highlands aerial park by Eli Damron Zip-lining is one of the coolest things I have ever done. I interviewed George Powell, the owner of Highlands Aerial Park. I’m glad that I inter- viewed him because my dad is the manager there, so I have been zip-lining many times. It was cool getting to know more about the zip-line park and more about him, too. Not only does he own the coolest zip-lines I’ve ever been on, but there’s a giant swing, and they have nature walks. If you have never been to High- lands Aerial Park, you are missing out. I had the idea of the park because we had the prop- erty for seventeen years, and we had stopped using it once we stopped riding our horses. I had a friend, who’s a landscaper, and we were just walkin’ through the property and he said, “You ought to be able to share this someway. It’s like a botani- cal garden with all the wildflowers.” That got me thinkin’ about it, and the best way I could think of to share it, and not ruin the property, would be to put in a zip line. That doesn’t do anything to destroy the trees, the plant life or anything, and it lets people see the property. It was a good spot
