STANDARD 5.0L PACKAGE
In stock form, the 5.0L H.O. V-8
makes 225 hp and 275 lb-ft of
torque. Bolt on the Vortech V-3 at

torque. Of course, results will vary
depending upon your engine’s

reservoir void of oil lines. The V-3 has its own
self-contained oiling system with independent
7,500-mile oil change intervals. Vortech specifies its own V-3 synthetic lubricant designed
especially for this low-maintenance supercharger. Huff and puff comes from a highefficiency SCi centrifugal impeller, six-rib drive
pulley, and housing developed in Vortech’s
own SAE J1723-compliant supercharger test
cell. The base V-3 SCi system yields 5-6
pounds of boost with plenty of room for
growth. Figure 275 hp and 344 lb-ft of torque
with a stock 5.0L H.O. engine.

rebuilding services for its supercharger products. Vortech superchargers have precision tolerances and operate at high speeds and
pressures. Don’t try to wrench on them in your home garage.
