Lost Generation
Imagine being sent on a plane alone to a foriegn country where you didn't know anybody and nobody knew you.The only way to survive is to figure out how the people are suppose to act in order for you to stay welcome, but your old ways are always getting in the way causing you great difficulty.
This is just a glimpse into the
life of a foster child. Where the
entire world is taken from under
their fragile feet and they are
pushed into the world of fear,
neglect, sadness, and ashamed. No matter how good the reason all the children feel the same...lost. Lost in a sea of thoughts, in the world, and most of all away from their families. No matter what they never feel like they belong anywhere again. The only answer to their thoughts is..."It's my fault because I was always bad" or "I never deserved to be loved, to have a family, or to have a home" How sad that an innocent child reassures themselves in such a way taking the blame all on themselves. Children are suppose to play, learn, make friends, and be loved.
