What is commercial use anyway and what are the fees?
Commercial photography: photographs taken for advertising, marketing, or to promote or sell a product, service or person. So think
about the pictures you see in magazine ads, brochures, restaurant
menus, billboards, websites, and catalogs. All of these uses are intended to promote a brand and to ultimately drive more sales. Since
the company in most cases will make a profit off of these photos the
fee for commercial usage is higher than what someone would pay for
a regular photo session. The pricing for these fees varies depending
on where the photos will be used, how they will be used, for how
long, and the size of the company.
