HOW DO YOU FEEL TOWARDS WAR NOW ?
War is brutal and a vicious engagement . You see the best and worst of men . I believe war should be avoided by all means , however , sometimes brave men and women must see it ’ s tragedies ; Because sometimes war is necessary , because some things are worth fighting for .
HOW DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS / BODYBUILDING ?
When I was young , my father used to take my brother and I to Abrams Gym on Ft . Hood , here in Texas . Then , I wanted to be as big and strong as him . He competed in body building competitions during the come out years of Flex Wheeler , Kevin Levrone , Lee Haney , and Dorian Yates . I used to watch Lee Haney videos with my father ; he would even make me do pull ups sometimes when I was disobedient . I would thank him later , once I got to boot camp .
After my discharge , I became very depressed . My mother suggested I go and see a psychiatrist and doctor at the VA Hospital . The doctors told me that I had symptoms of TBI ( traumatic brain injury ) and the doctor suggested exercise and weight training as a way to treat my PTSD symptoms , because exercising releases endorphins , that would help stabilize my moods and brain function . The more I worked out , the better I felt , the more I wanted to learn .
DO YOU MAINTAIN THE SAME DIS- CIPLINE AND ROUTINE AS YOU DID WHEN YOU WERE IN THE MILITARY ?
My routine has definitely changed . I used to be up and in formation at 5:30 am every day ; I definitely don ’ t do that anymore .

TELL US ABOUT YOUR MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKING .
From a young age , I always enjoyed helping people . Now that I have experiences to share , I want to inspire people . I want to let them know all their dreams are possible , No matter the obstacles , their conditions , where they come from . What matters is who they want to be , and are they willing to put in what it takes to become that person and attain those goals . I want to help people find that truth , long before I did .
