Ambrose Bonnaire-Sergeant ( St 2003- 2007 ) became married on 11 August 2017 to Marcela at Indiana University . Both Ambrose and Marcela are PhD students in Computer Sciences . Ambrose was also a guest speaker at a conference in Baltimore , Maryland , on Typed Clojure ‘ Tool Assisted Spec Development ’ on 14 October 2017 .
Zach Cole ( St 2003-2007 ) was featured in The West Australian with his one-year-old daughter Embla . The pair represented the new statistic of the increasing amount of stay-at-home dads in Australia .
Josh Duane ( Ha 1996-2007 ) is currently working as a sports reporter for the Channel 9 Perth News team . Having studied Broadcasting at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts , Josh gained experience working as a sports reporter for organisations such as the Western Australian Cricket Association and Fairfax Media .
Jarrad Martyn ( He 2005-2009 ) was awarded the 2017 City of Joondalup Community Invitation Art Award . Jarrad ’ s award-winning oil painting , titled Territory , studied Lake Joondalup and early white settler engagement with the landscape . The award coincided with his 26th birthday which made the win even better .
Chad Abbott ( Wb 1997-2010 ) graduated from the University of Sydneys Medical School ’ s first M . D . program in 2017 . He is now doing his internship at one of Sydney ’ s leading hospitals .
Peter Farmer ( Sc 2010-2010 ) worked alongside his father last year to rejuvenate the east end of Perth with plantar boxes . Their art was a part of the Historic Heart project which brought together business and government to revitilise the city ’ s long-neglected east end . The plantar boxes were designed with various Indigenous artwork .
Maxwell Swaney ( SG 2006-2010 ) completed his Honours Degree at Curtin University alongside his mother , Sharon . While Max completed his degree in Psychology , his mum completed her Honours degree in Health Promotion .
James Kerr ( Fr 2007-2011 ) was selected into the Penrith Cup crew for the 2018 Sydney International Rowing Regatta . This was the second year James was selected into the Penrith Cup crew after winning gold at the 2016 / 17 Championships . At this year ’ s regatta his crew came fourth .
Zac Langdon ( He 2011-2012 ) made his Australian Football League ( AFL ) debut for Greater Western Sydney Giants in Round 1 against the Western Bulldogs . He kicked one goal and managed seven disposals in the Giant ’ s 82-point win over the Bulldogs . Having worked hard playing country , Public Schools ’ Association and West Australian Football League footy in order to get to the AFL , Zac was Pick 56 in last year ’ s NAB AFL Draft and truly earnt his spot in the side .
James Lester ( Fr 2008-2012 ) was selected in the Australian side for the XI FIP World Polo Championship 2017 . He was selected after demonstrating his dedication and team spirit in

the squad practices . James played against Spain in their first match and won 10-9 in extra time .
Sam Love ( Be 2008-2012 ), Naish Wallace ( He 2003-2014 ), Oscar Wharton ( Sc 1999-2012 ), and their friend Harry Lill completed a bike ride from Perth to Melbourne . The team set off from Domain Stadium and made it to the MCG in 13 days whilst managing to raise over $ 12,600 for beyondblue .
Brandon Poletti ( He 2009-2013 ) released his debut EP called My Biggest Fear on 10 March 2018 .
Fraser Pensini ( He 2010-2014 ) won a Bronze Medal for Western Australia in the Kings Cup race at the 2018 Sydney International Rowing Regatta . He was joined by Ethan Aird ( Be 2011-2015 ).
Gavin Pensini ( He 2010-2014 ) and Fraser Pensini ( He 2010-2014 ) were featured in The West Australian advocating for the School of the Air . The pair studied through the Port Hedland School of the Air on the family station near Paraburdoo for their primary school education , before heading to Guildford Grammar School .
Ethan Aird ( Be 2011-2015 ) won a Bronze Medal for Western Australia in the Kings Cup race at the 2018 Sydney International Rowing Regatta . He was joined by Fraser Pensini ( He 2010-2014 ).
Griffin Logue ( SG 2011-2015 ) was sidelined from the start of the 2018 Australian Football League season to receive treatment for a congenital foot injury . We wish him well with his recovery .
Spencer Beatty ( SG 2015-2016 ) was awarded a scholarship for Agricultural Studies at Curtin University in 2017 .
Jack Grant ( Sc 2009-2016 ) was selected to race in the Men ’ s Youth VIII crew at the 2018 Sydney International Rowing Regatta .
William Munroe ( Fr 2006-2016 ), and his family run café called ‘ Standing Room Only ’ was voted as the best coffee in Perth by the Beanhunter App . The coffee beans at ‘ Standing Room Only ’ are locally sourced and they say the
key to being chosen as the best coffee is down to consistency .
Sam Taylor ( Fr 2012-2016 ) was drafted by the Australian Football League ’ s ( AFL ) Greater Western Sydney Giants at pick 28 in the 2017 NAB AFL Draft .
Tristyn Crute ( Be 2014-2017 ) was selected as a goal keeper for the 2018 Western Australian Under 18 State Indoor Hockey team . A previous Captain of Hockey for Guildford Grammar School in 2017 , Tristyn travelled to Goulburn in New South Wales in January to compete in the National Indoor Hockey Championships . Western Australia ended up finishing the competition in fourth place , narrowly missing out on a medal .
Jaedon Peters ( SG 2007-2017 ), Samuel Sibma ( Wb 2012-2016 ) and Alex Ambrosi ( St 2009-2016 ) now row together for Australian National University . The trio rowed together whilst students at Guildford Grammar School and were recently a part of the winning crew at the Australian Capital Territory Rowing Championships in the 2nd VIII Division .
