FROM THE HEADMASTER
The strong focus was on
positive relationships,
feeling welcomed,
valued and accepted.
• Four Year 9 students came to the aid of
a young Prep girl who needed medical
attention after falling over and another
group of Senior School students assisted
a Year 2 boy to rescue his toy from a
tree.
• The Old Guildfordian network rallying
to provide support in so many ways to
a fellow OG dealing with a challenging
health diagnosis.
• Old Guildfordians returning in strong
numbers to celebrate with the 2018
Darlot Cup winning team at a lunch
function which included all past winning
teams.
The little things matter; respect, integrity,
compassion are all highly valued and we
must continually reinforce the importance
of good manners, discipline and an outward
looking approach in which our students are
always aware of the needs of others. This
reinforces connection and our strong sense
of community.
Our beautiful grounds and the majestic
Chapel of St Mary and St George have been
shared by generations and they provide
a link and thread that binds our broader
community together symbolically. To inspire students to achieve
personal excellence and to be
outstanding citizens who work
to create a loving, just and
peaceful society.
With a continued focus on servant leadership
and the importance of giving to others in
the community we will always work towards
living the aspiration of our School purpose. Mr Stephen Webber
