Moving forward,
together
Following the School’s announcement
in November 2016 that Council had
unanimously decided to extend co-education
into the Senior School from the start of 2018,
it has been a dynamic and exciting period as
the dedicated Co-education Project Team has
been delivering on our implementation plan,
with a great deal of activity in Terms 1 and 2
of 2017.
I am pleased to advise that at the time
of writing we have 34 girls confirmed
to join the Senior School next year and
expect more enrolments as we approach
the commencement of 2018. School tour
numbers have been at record levels and we
have received increased enrolment interest in

Two staff with a dedicated role in supporting
the transition and new program development
commenced in Term 2, 2017. Ms Jennyfer
Leah has been appointed as the Co-
education Transition Coordinator and will
collaborate with school leadership, staff and
students to develop and implement initiatives
that will enhance our current culture, to
support every student in their quest for
personal excellence within an inclusive
environment. Ms Leah has broad experience
with the School as a teacher and Mentor in
our leadership program and as a researcher.
Headmaster Mr Stephen Webber
Ms Janine Finnie joined the School in late
May as the Director of Girls’ Sport and comes
to us from her role with Hockey WA as the
Senior Participation Manager. She worked
as a professional coach for businesses,
organisations, schools and individuals during
periods of change. Ms Finnie also brings
some unique experience to her role, as she
was the Head Girl, leading the first group of
