Round 1 2016 and has played 27 games
as a big-bodied key defender. He plays
with exceptional speed and power for his
size, shows great courage in the air and is
a long kick. Marcus has a high scope for
improvement in the AFL environment after
having his seasons cut short due to injury. Debuted for Fremantle in Round 3 2017
after being drafted with Pick No.8 and
played 13 games as a defender. In 2018
Griffin’s season was inhibited by a foot
injury that required surgery. A member of the NAB AFL Academy before
being drafted to GWS at Pick No.28 in the
2017 National AFL Draft. Sam made his
debut in Round 11 2018 and has played
eight games. His impressive performances
in his debut season saw him compared to
fellow defender and Old Guildfordian Alex
Rance (Fr 2005-2006) and also earnt him a
NAB Rising Star Nomination in Round 17.
Zac Fisher (SG 2011-2015)
Carlton Football Club
Zac has steadily progressed within the
side since debuting for Carlton in Round
4 2017 and has played 36 games. He
was exciting in his debut season, playing
with flair and creativity, and was afforded
more opportunities in the midfield, playing
alongside Patrick Cripps. His 2018 season
ended early after suffering a broken leg
against Hawthorn.
