Ultimate Frisbee champions
Ultimate Frisbee is a fast-paced team sport played with a Frisbee. The basic aim is for a team to pass the Frisbee up the field
and score by completing a pass into the end zone. The sport was first introduced at Guildford Grammar School a number of
years ago through Physical Education studies. In 2018 it was decided to take the next step and enrol a team in the High School
Championships.
The High School Ultimate Championship
is an event run by WA Ultimate allowing
schools across Western Australia to compete
for the title of Ultimate High School
Champions. The teams were selected from
Ms Patriquin and Mr Giles’ Year 11 Physical
Education Studies classes and topped up
with a few Year 12 students who had
played the game well the previous year.
The team was made up of:
• Rebecca Adamson (11SG)
• Darcy Buckley (11Be)
• Thomas Burns (11Sc)
• Sean Callaghan (12Be)
• Jack Danvers (11Wb)
