We are thankful for these men and their willingness to preach the Word of God at the recent national pastor's conference. We left the meetings encouraged and challenged by their ministry.

"For the last 12 years, my family and I have lived in Marystown, Newfoundland and Labrador, as we strive to plant Heritage Baptist Church. God has been very good to us – blessing us with a wonderful church building and numerous opportunities to be involved in sharing the Gospel with our community. Our goal is to get to the point where our church is self-supporting and then make an effort to expand our ministries to reach the many smaller communities on the Burin

Peninsula where we live."

Josh Towns

Pastor Towns was saved as a young boy and called of God to preach in 2003 at summer camp. After this call the Lord led Pastor Towns and his family in 2008 to Burnaby, British Columbia where he served as Assistant Pastor at Metro Baptist Church for 3 years. It was at this time that Pastor Towns heard about a little church in North Vancouver that no longer had a Pastor. In 2011, He approached the interim Pastor and began working under Him as an associate Pastor. The people of Lions Gate Baptist Church called him as their Pastor in November of 2012. The Lord has been blessing the church and Pastor Towns is excited about the future on the North Shore in British Columbia, Canada.
