SAVED
I remember a day,
Not too long ago;
It won’t take long to say
And I want the world to know:
It was the twenty seventh of August,
I was so burdened with sin;
Then I met Christ,
And he made me new within.
It’s been five years,
Since that blessed day;
I gave him all my fears,
And he took my sins away.
Oh Hallelujah! He saved my soul.
Praise the gracious King!
That day he made me whole,
Saved by the blood, now I can sing.
I cry with tears of love,
By what he did for me;
I focus my eyes above,
And thank him for hearing my plea.
