Rigor Requirements - All candidates for admission are expected to successfully complete in high school : 4 years of English , 4 years of Math ( Algebra I , Geometry , Algebra II required ), 3 years of Science , 3 years of Social Science , 1 year of World Language , 2 years of Academic Electives
* SAT cut scores are for the “ new ” test administered beginning March 2016 . Scores from an SAT test taken prior to that date are acceptable . See fortlewis . edu / admission for those cut scores .
* Western Undergraduate Exchange ( WUE ) states : AK , AZ , CA , HI , ID , MT , ND , NM , NV , OR , SD , UT , WA , WY .
New Mexico Reciprocal Tuition Merit Scholarship : New Mexico residents are automatically considered for this award .

International Student Admission Standards
In addition to meeting the Freshman or Transfer admission standards , international students must have a minimum TOEFL score of 61 or a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 .
Developmental Education
Students with developmental education requirements in English composition or mathematics will complete that coursework through concurrent enrollment at a local community college during their first year of attendance .
