Each guide finds their unique way to offer tea.

We make the tea out of foraged plants; when we drink it, we take the forest into our bodies.

At first it was difficult to find much information about how forest therapy is done in Japan. One source said every walk ended with tea made from plants foraged along the trail. That felt right. And it felt right to honor the Japanese lineage of this practice by including tea at the end of every walk. It's part of what we train guides to do. Everyone experiences so much joy from this simple ceremony. Now there are forest tea ceremonies all over the world.
