FORENSICS JOURNAL If I had my druthers, there would be mandatory mentoring by experienced attorneys for all newly admitted lawyers. The mentoring aspect of the Center is based on the recognition that we are a community that functions well based on relationships with each other. Relationship skills are not taught in law school. I see mentoring as a vehicle to show young lawyers how to become integrated in the society of lawyers. LYNNE A. BATTAGLIA received her Juris Doctor degree in 1974 from the University of Maryland Law School where she was Articles Editor of the Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif.
