One of my favorite things about collecting foreign editions of Dr. Strange comics is finding covers that
are notably different than the American issues they’re reprinting. The original run of Dr. Extraño, as he
is known in Spain, was published by Editions Vértice in 1972 and featured original painted covers.
Even though these covers were similar to those published in the US, the added touch of the paint made
them highly sought after to me. This section contains many of the covers from that 14-issue run.
