Part Eleven:
France
The following pages include a cover gallery of Doctor Strange and Defenders comics published in France.
These comics, unlike their French-Canadian counterparts,
were printed in full color and bound like mini-graphic
novels instead of stapled. Besides numerous issues of
Docteur Strange and Los Defenseurs, I’ve also tracked
down a few more of Doc’s appearances in French Marvel
titles like Titans, Strange, and Dr. Strangefate. Also seen
here is the French-only bound collection of Erik Larsen’s
12 issue Defender’s run and the Michael Golden graphic
novel “Pour L’Amour De Clea.” Bon Appetit!
