LEFT: An assortment of digestsized color reprint series from
Brazil.
TOP LEFT TO BOTTOM RIGHT:
Heróis Da TV #82, Grandes Herois
Marvel #18, Herois Da TV #106,
Superaventuras Marvel #6,
Superaventuras Marvel #10,
and O Incrível Hulk #51.
These comics were published in Quebec by Les
Éditions Héritage and feature 2 issues of Doctor
Strange in each. Interiors were black and white.
LEFT & BELOW: Docteur Strange issues #1/2,
3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 11/12, 13/14, and an original black
and white pin-up from issue #21/22.
BELOW: One of the weirdest
items in my collection is a Doctor
Strange Rubik’s Cube kit from
Argentina. It comes with unassembled cube parts, sticker sheets
and a small screwdriver to put it
all together. Making it even more
bizarre: the side of the box features
DC Comics characters. Either the
kit is a bootleg toy or an extremely
“strange” licensed item that features both Marvel and DC production art.
