There’s a lot of reasons why, once I discovered it existed, I decided to pursue this run
of books. When I first got into comics the
Deadman issues of Strange Adventures were
some of the first Silver Age books I bought.
At the time they were incredibly affordable
(this was 30 years ago) and the artwork in
most of them almost beckoned to me. This
series is where my obsession with all things
