Why is this run important? It took approximately four years to complete this project
and I was only able to do it with the help of Gustavo Medina who happened to have
a copy of the last issue I needed to finish it. These books are scarce, even in Mexico
and South America. The fact that a complete run exist in the U.S. is almost as crazy
as I am for tracking them all down. The classic Neal Adams art doesn’t hurt either.
The title Titanes Planetarios from Editorial Novaro featured several different D.C. titles. They were released
on an alternating schedule every other month. That means for the Deadman run in Strange Adventures it
was two years before readers got the complete story. It’s possible this may have impacted sales or even
the reader’s interest as this run is now particularly difficult to find.
