The Perfection Dance Company based out of King, NC was on fire this season with all of their competition routines. Dance Perfections competed around North Carolina at five regionals taking over 50 routines at each competition. Their Dance company consist of dancers from ages 5 – 18 competing in all areas of dance - with group dances. Solos, duets and trios. At the dance competitions each dance is scored individually in its category with a Platinum being the highest and then the competition will place all the routines in the top ten overalls and then name the overall winners. Dance Perfections is proud to say that the majority of all their routines won a Platinum and they were always placing in the top five overalls if not taking grand overall winners at every competition. DP had senior solos, junior and teen solos ,duets and trios that took grand overall winners at every regional. Their small groups and large groups in all age divisions were consistanly placing in the top overall winners if not taking grand overall champions. “Dance Perfection dancers have won numerous scholarship awards all season to New York and Chicago where they can take classes from some of the worlds top artist in the industry.” Not only was DP dancers coming out on top at competitions they were winning best costume awards ( designed by owner Michelle Brooks Webb and designer Patricia Calubro of the Couture Shop in King). They received top entertainment awards, best choreography awards along with a Top choreography award for the day out of all routines at the entire competition. Dance Perfections competition team director and choreographer is Bobbi Jo Wichelman whos choreography has won numerous awards since she has been a part of DP. Dance Perfections was also named one of the top highest scoring studios of the entire competition this season. DP dancers also won numerous scholarship awards all season to New York and Chicago where they can take classes from some of the worlds top artist in the industry. DP is proud to say that they will have eight graduating seniors this year – they have all been a part of the dance program since ages of 5 or 7 years old. Our senior dancers at our last competition took platinums and took top 7 places in the grand overall winners. – this was an awesome win for these girls who were competing for the last time.
