Ryan Ashton told us more about their association with the club , saying , “ I ’ ve been a big supporter of the club for the past four years and we ’ ve sponsored them for three of those . I get along to the games and it ’ s great to see them pick up a couple of wins and hopefully that will continue .
I ’ d like to take this opportunity to wish the club the best of luck and hope that they get the success that they deserve .”

We have an excellent and hard working committee who help to make everything run smoothly on match days and their hard work has helped to create the great atmosphere around the club today .
When looking to the future , I hope to continue our progress and at the club , we definitely have the goal to reach the Premier in at least the next five years . This would be a brilliant achievement for everyone involved in the club and would be nothing less than what they deserve . A step up into the big league would also be brilliant for the town of Ballyclare and would definitely help to bring a boost to the area .
Throughout my time at the club I have enjoyed seeing the club grow and develop and the Premier would be the logical next step in our development . Our ground was modernised in 2010 and
we hope to do further improvements with our floodlights and a possible 3G pitch in the future to develop our club off the pitch as well as on it .
In 2019 , our club will reach a 100 year milestone and this will be an epic year for everyone involved . It would be extremely fitting for all of our on and off pitch development to hit its peak for this celebratory year .
Our 100 year anniversary celebrations are definitely something that I am personally looking forward to as it will allow us to celebrate our roots coming out of WW1 and will allow us to reflect on how far we have come since then – becoming one of the largest clubs in the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough .
Overall , my time at the club has been an extremely enjoyable one and it has rewarded me with some brilliant memories and experiences . Yes , some times have been tough , especially financially because it is always hard to find sponsors and for people to support you when you ’ re not in a good position on the pitch , but despite all this the club has not halted in its growth over the years .
Times have changed since I joined in 1972 , Northern Irish amateur football is today much more focused on bringing forward new , younger talent than simply signing older / more experienced former Premiership players and I really feel that this has helped to improve the quality of the amateur game
Going into our 100 year anniversary in 2019 , I believe that our club is in a great position to push on towards heights that we have never reached before and I really do feel that times today are some of the best that they have ever been for our club here in the brilliant town of Ballyclare .
