“Youth football is the future! Some of our U21s made
appearances for the first team last season while the younger
ones act as mascots on first team home games and all are made
welcome at the club. Our U21s are now U23s this season are in
place to help players make the transition into the senior game,
they train with the first team and those who impress are given
a chance.
“We are an FA Community Club which allows a safe
environment with all coaches CRC checked, minimum Level
1 trained covering first aid and safeguarding children. With
this accreditation and our excellent facilities we are very much
a community club which includes the first team and two
women’s teams.
“Some of our biggest challenges moving forward will
revolve around their not being too much tampering from
the powers that be and whether football remains popular in
these modern times with so much on offer. There is no better
medicine than outdoor sport which helps prepare you for the
adult world.
“Our ambition is to continue to provide football to all that
is safe and FUN.”
