“We want to improve our position the
leagues we are in, look to push on and for
the first team to challenge for promotion.
We also want to set up a youth section
under our name if possible and increase
the sponsorship. We have come a long
way over the past five years, we’ve now
got floodlights, two fifty seater stands and
the ground is now fully enclosed. The
Chairman wants to install irrigation but
this costs so the finances have to improve.
Finally, it would be great to have some
younger blood involved in the running of
the club.”

sponsorship is another major challenge.
We are not in a position to pay players
and due to our relative remote location we
have some difficulty attracting players to
the club. Very often their first question
is, ‘how much will you pay me?’ I must
admit the amount of money banded about
by some of the clubs amazes me.”
