The club was originally established in 1945, and initially played in the Mid Essex league and
they later joined the Southend District League, before becoming members of the Southend
Borough Combination in 1982. In 1984, they joined Division Two of the Essex Olympian
League, and were promoted to Division One in their first season after finishing third.
They narrowly avoided relegation
in their first season in Division One,
finishing thirteenth out of fifteen clubs,
but the following season finished bottom
and were relegated back to Division Two.
In 1990 the club was accepted into the
20 Issue 72
Essex Senior League, where they have
remained since.
I personally have been involved in
Hullbridge Sports and Social Club since
around 2011 after having spotted a flyer
advertising the start of an infants Soccer
Academy being run by West Ham United
starting up at my local football club. A
Club I must say that I had never been to
before despite three years in the area!
