It has been a season to remember for Spixworth FC as they currently sit top of the league having produced some outstanding performances . We recently caught up with their Secretary Shaun Maxey to find out more about the good work that the club has been doing lately .
Involvement
He told us , “ I ’ ve been with the club 3 years this season ; Spixworth was my local club which I went to watch a few times . I could tell within the first few visits that Spixworth FC was a club I wanted to get involved in , the committee members and players are one big family and the spirit at the club is second to none .”
This Season
“ The mood at the club has been on the rise the last couple of seasons , and this season it ’ s exploded , the lads at the club this season have a togetherness on and off the pitch that no one can match , and with the success we have had so far it can only grow .
