any years ago I played for Totton FC and then Totton Athletic FC who
amalgamated in 1975 to form AFC Totton so my involvement behind the
scenes is over 42 years!
I was attracted to the Club due to
the potential of achieving higher league
football and improving the facilities at
the old run down Testwood Park ground.
In the event, we sold Testwood Park and
moved in 2011 to a brand new stadium on
the outskirts of Totton which was built to
Conference South standards.
At this moment in time our success
has been to avoid relegation from the
Evostik South & West league. This we
managed under our new Manager Louis
Langdown and his assistant Adam Wilde.
Louis and Adam have introduced a youth
policy loaning academy players from AFC
Bournemouth, Havant & Waterlooville
and Aldershot FC to play alongside our
more experienced senior players.
