Involvement
He told us, “I have been involved at Hyde United since July 2012,
initially as head of the Academy. Prior to this I ran the Academy at
New Mills AFC. Hyde gained promotion to the Conference Premier
league at the end of the 2012-2013 season and identified the need
for a full time Academy to allow them to develop the club and
hopefully the star players of the future.
I was invited to join the board in 2013, and took over as CEO in
September of last year. The biggest reward is seeing the club start
to flourish, attracting new fans, engaging with the community and
getting results on the pitch.”

Atmosphere
“The club is on the up. The majority of fans can see the changes we
have made, and how this is starting to feed into the results for the
first team. The atmosphere is a positive one and we are working
hard to keep the momentum up.”
This Season
“The season has been what we expected I think. We have a
detailed business plan, and we know what we can achieve and how
we can afford it. We would like to finish strongly to prepare for next
season. This will allow us to secure players now for next season as a
positive club/environment for them to play and develop in.”
Youth
“Youth development is central to the club. Our club constitution
requires the first team manager to have a minimum of six Academy
