“We would consider ourselves a community club and
hold successful football camps in the school holidays for local
schoolchildren. The stadium is ten years old so very modern and I
think one of the best in the Isthmian Premier Division and we have
just installed a large Marque in the grounds to host weddings and
parties etc. We also have three function rooms for hire as well.”
Challenges/Ambitions
“The biggest challenges the club faces are getting spectators
into the Harlow Arena and watching the football club progress.
With bigger clubs around us like Tottenham, Arsenal and West
Ham it dose prove difficult to gain new spectators.
The ambition for the club over the next five years is to gain
promotion to the highest level of the football pyramid we can.
We also want to strengthen the three Ladies teams we have and
move them up the footballing pyramid, as well as involving the
local community with our successful youth set up that we have
in place.”
