orth Greenford United is a fine example of a well-run club working from the
foundation of a strong committee. Football Focus Magazine recently caught up
with their Secretary Barbara Bivens to find out how they are getting along at present.
Involvement
She told us, “I’ve been involved for more than twenty years
now. We’ve had some great times over the years and been
fortunate enough to win some silverware. We went from being a
Step 6 club to having four years at Step 4 which was really good.

Considering we don’t pay the players we’ve done superbly.
I’d say we’re a nice club with a friendly atmosphere that will
always look to provide people with a warm welcome. We’ve a
committee of seven and it’s a hard working group that we have
here. Everybody chips in with the jobs that need doing.”
