t has been confirmed that Cambridge City will be relegated this
season despite a courageous effort to avoid the drop towards the end
of the campaign. They finished with a record of twelve wins, eleven draws
and twenty-three defeats from their forty-six matches to end fourth from
bottom with forty seven points.
The club won the team of the month
award in April after putting together a run
of five wins and a draw from six matches
and if they are able to continue this form
they should be in with a good chance of a
positive season next time around.

Despite their relegation, there is still
plenty of reason for optimism around
the club as Secretary Andy Dewey told
Football Focus Magazine earlier in the
season.
He explained, “If we can secure the
new stadium then it will potentially put
the club in the best position it has ever
been in. Our biggest challenge over the

stadium complex up and running and
