“We moved to our new ground twenty
years ago. We’ve had a lot of work done
in the last eighteen months with £100,000
spent on the ground including £70,000
from the Football Foundation so there
have been a lot of improvements.” “One of our biggest challenges is that
we are a little bit isolated geographically.
We have more travelling than anybody
else in our league so have quite high
expenses in this regard – our nearest team
is forty miles away.
In the coming years, our first priority
is to remain on a sound financial basis. If
things go well ultimately we would love
to make it to Step 4. It will be difficult but
that would be a great level for us to be
playing at. That’s a good level of football
and we’re quite capable of giving the
teams in that league a game.”
