Horley Town FC Football Academy reflects an ethos which combines the provision of football excellence with a full-time education .

What is The Football Academy ?
The Football Academy is a 2-year , full-time Education and Football Development programme delivered in partnership with Professional and Non-League Football Clubs . Open to talented footballers aged between 16 – 18 years , the Academy Programme is a must for any football enthusiast . A playing trial will be required as places will be offered based on playing ability and academic ability . opportunities within the Sport and leisure industry , including coaching placements and playing scholarships in America .
Who will deliver the Education ?
The club have linked with Pro Infinity , a Further Education and Work Based Training Provider , who will be responsible for the management and delivery of the educational element of the Academy . Pro Infinity currently work in partnership with many Sixth Form Schools , Further Education Colleges and Football Academies across the country .
What are the Costs ?
Both the Football and Educational element of the Academy is fully funded and therefore there is no cost to join the programme . There will be a subsidised cost for purchasing training kit and study books and technology at the start of the season . Further details will be provided upon the player ’ s acceptance into the Football Academy .

Why Join the Academy ?
Horley Town Football Club ’ s Academy has the simple aim of helping talented footballers make progress in their sporting careers whilst continuing with their academic studies .
The scheme enables young players to enjoy 10 hours of coaching by UEFA qualified coaches and competitive fixtures alongside their academic studies . Horley Town FC will have teams in the Conference Youth Alliance , Southern Youth League , as well as the prestigious FA Youth Cup .
What Education Programme will I study ?
Over the 2-year duration , players will study a variety of National Recognised Qualifications within the subject of Sport , Coaching & Fitness . Players will study the Diploma in Sport Level 2 & 3 ( A-Level equivalence ), FA Coaching Qualifications together with core skills in Maths and English . Successful completion of the educational programme will enable players to follow pathways into Higher Education at selected Universities and employment
