ast Preston FC is enjoying a terrific season so far and
is in with a terrific chance of claiming a league title.
Football Focus Magazine caught up with their Chairman Terry
Doyle to gain an insight into their success.
He started by telling us about his
involvement with the club. Saying, “I
have been chairman for three years
and involved for four. My previous
involvement with football had been with
York City where I was finance director
for a number of years and I missed the

day to day involvement. I followed up an
invitation to get involved at EP and the
rest as they say is history.”
“The rewarding part of the role is
winning games and seeing a successful
infrastructure being built at the club. We
have also won three Respect awards this
season which proves you can be successful
and conduct yourself properly as a club.
“I inherited a club that only had a first
team resulting in relegation last season.
With my fellow committee members and
an excellent management team we have
rebuilt the structure so that next season
