FOOTBALL CLUB

ylesbury United Juniors FC was first established in 1976 under the name of Bearbrook Rangers with most of their players coming from Bearbrook Middle School . They competed in the Aylesbury Junior Football League and were invited to play under the Aylesbury United Juniors FC banner in 1985 .
The club went on to put together a proud history competing in a variety of leagues including the Wycombe and South Bucks Junior Football League , the South Bucks Youth League and the Chiltern Youth League . Their youth teams left the club by 2000 however meaning that they went thirteen years without a junior set up .
Aylesbury Town remerged with Aylesbury United in 2013 meaning that Aylesbury United Juniors FC was re-established . They now state on their official website that the club is built on “ the foundations of being a family Club , with the children ’ s welfare , education , personal development and enjoyment being the priority . We aim to ensure that everyone associated with Aylesbury United Juniors FC enjoy their participation in football and celebrate playing this wonderful game .”
Their set up has certainly gone from strength to strength and in the 2015 / 16 season they were able to provide opportunities for around 300 girls and boys . In total they have 27 managers and coaches associated with the teams all of which are trained to a minimum of the Level One FA Coaching Certificate .
It is important for any club looking to be successful over a sustained period of time to able to produce their own talent , particularly in the current financial
climate , and this is an area they appear to have covered . It will certainly be exciting to see how their youngsters are able to progress over the coming years .
In order to help ensure that their players enjoy a smooth transition into senior football they also run an U21 team . This allows them to continue to get game time even if they are not yet considered ready for first team action which can be an important step in the development process . Based on the results of the U21 team so far this season the future certainly looks bright as they were recently able to clinch the South Bucks Development League title . The team rounded off a great season by defeating Haddenham Under 21s 1-0 with Alex Chilott netting the winning goal .
This is a fantastic achievement for the side and is a just reward for all of the hard work that has gone into giving them a platform for success . Coaching staff involved with the side are confident that they have a number of players in the side that have the potential to go on and make an impact at first team level .
There is clearly much to admire about the fine set up that Aylesbury United Juniors FC currently has in place and this is thanks to all of the hard work that has gone into making them a success . Hopefully they will be able to continue in the same manner for many years to come .
