In order to help ensure that these players enjoy a smooth transition into senior football they also run an U21 team . This allows them to continue to get game time even if they are not yet considered ready for first team action which can be an important step in the development process .
Based on the results of the U21 team so far this season the future certainly looks bright as they were recently able to clinch the South Bucks Development League title . The team rounded off a great season by defeating Haddenham Under 21s 1-0 with Alex Chilott netting the winning goal .
This is a fantastic achievement for the side and is a just reward for all of the hard work that has gone into giving them a platform for success . Coaching staff involved with the side are confident that they have a number of players in the side that have the potential to go on and make an impact at first team level .
Aylesbury United FC is a club that is working hard to progress and they appear to be building a solid base to allow them to enjoy a successful future . With a cup semi-final approaching it is an exciting time for everyone involved with the club and Football Focus Magazine would like to take this opportunity to wish them the best of luck for the future .
