So far this season their first team has put together a solid league campaign , having compiled a record of twelve wins , seven draws and fourteen defeats from their thirty three matches . This has left them sitting in a safe mid-table position with 43 points on the board .
This should provide them with a solid platform from which to build as they look to the future . They are in the semi-final of the League Cup and will take on St Ives for a place in the final . A good cup run is always a great way to build momentum for a club and is particularly good for supporters . There is a confidence amongst the players that they have the ability to go all the way .
The club recently made the move to complete the signing of eighteen year old Colm McAdden on a ‘ work experience ’ loan to cover for the unavailable Zaki Oualah . The young Irishman is on the books of Crystal palace and has played for their U21 team this season .
He also had a loan spell with Ryman League side Metropolitan Police and has previously spent time with Sutton United , Three Bridges and Merstham . He joins at a busy time in the season and will certainly be looking to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact .
One of the highlights of the Aylesbury United set up is the superb youth section that they have in place . This part of the club looks to provide young players from the local area with an opportunity to play the game in a safe and enjoyable environment whilst helping them to reach their full potential .
