aving first been established in 1966 , Hanley Town FC has been achieving plenty of success in recent times , winning promotion to the North West Counties League Premier Division last season . They are based at Potteries Park on Abbey Lane in Staffordshire and are led by Chairman John Powell .
Their first team has made a steady start to their league campaign this time around , having put together a record of eleven wins , eight draws and eleven defeats from their thirty league matches . This has left them sitting in a safe mid-table position with forty one points on the board .
They have recently seen a change in manager with Michael Edwards taking over the role . Speaking after his appointment , he told the club ’ s official website www . hanleytownfc . co . uk , “ With only 12 games to go – I want us to go and try and get as many points out of those 12 games as possible .
