“ I am the right person to write this feature , not just because of my role as UK Sales Director for TITAN Containers , but I am also chairman of an Amateur football club in North London , probably level 8 on the pyramid , so nothing special ! So I have some idea of the problems running a club and also the amount of “ stuff ” that is generated and needs storage .
Usually before some low life steals it !
Over recent years the use of a steel shipping container on site , by the club-house or pitch , has become deservedly popular , for obvious reasons ! Because most clubs operate on a limited budget the first thought can be simply to buy on price . A used container that may be rusty , have stiff doors and generally just look a mess ! Clearly I would rather sell a brand new , dark green 20 ’ container which usually looks good on any site , particularly if on grounds rented from the Local Council .
If funds will not stretch to buying a new container … why not rent one ? If TITAN can deliver a nice new dark blue one with its decal prominent , so we get some publicity on match day , then the rate per day may surprise you !
