Herefordshire has been a bit of a backwater in terms of developing young footballers in the past and we are keen to take this opportunity to bring local footballers up through the ranks and into the limelight .”
Challenges / Ambitions
“ We ’ ve had some unprecedented success so far , which has had something to do with our size relative to the teams we have been playing . Sooner or later we ’ ll come up against teams that can match and surpass our resources , and there is a new challenge there to maximise our resources to get the best we can against teams that may be backed by a millionaire or with gates much larger than ours .
The supporters sing “ To the Football League , we ’ re on our way .” The ambition is upwards , hopefully with good progress on the development of at least one new stand to get us some better facilities for supporters and more revenue streams .”
