The following is a fictitious example of when things can go wrong very quickly :

Imagine this : The football stands are full , the game has kicked off and all is going well until … a disruption occurs ! However , for once it ’ s not on the pitch , it ’ s on the side lines !

The commotion was caused due to an altercation involving two members of staff which broke out on the side lines which resulted in one of them having to be restrained to ensure the safety of the other . The altercation was fuelled entirely by workplace gossip and unfounded allegations of various wrongdoings . Both parties believed themselves to be the injured party and tempers became stretched to the limit .
This unprofessional fiasco was witnessed by supporters , and other members of staff but sadly it didn ’ t even stop there … Social media continued to play out the workplace nightmare until eventually one of the parties involved the police with allegations of cyber bullying and slander ...
