The Springs is a friendly golf club situated over 133 acres of parkland in an area of outstanding natural beauty . The red kite ’ s are often seen soaring overhead , while kingfisher ’ s can also be spotted darting over the wetlands . We hope they aren ’ t the only birdies you see when you play at The Springs !
Our Championship Golf Course was designed by former Ryder Cup Captain Brian Huggett MBE and can be enjoyed by golfers of all levels . The course is always in excellent condition and a warm welcome at the 19th enjoyment is guaranteed .
Measuring 6470 yards from the back tees and with a par of 72 our parkland course is sure to provide an enjoyable challenge for all levels of golfer with its mature trees , lakes , sleeper edged bunkers and areas of wetland .
The signature hole is the testing 184 yard Par 3 8th hole ; which depending on the wind can play anything from a mid iron to a wood . The green is surrounded by water and bunkers so anything drifting slightly offline will find a watery grave or have you scrambling to save par .
A great golf course should always offer a final ‘ sting in the tail ’ and the memorable 18th definitely fits the bill . At a little over 400 yards the dogleg par 4 is framed by mature oaks and a listed copse of trees splits the fairway in two , leaving you with one final decision to make and good drive to hit !

A Spacious Oak-Beamed Foyer The Spike Bar | Restaurant | Lounge Meeting Room | Changing Rooms | Pro Shop Food is served 7 days a week ~ Weekdays 9am - 5pm . Open 8am at weekends .
Societies are welcome and can book 18 holes of golf with a full English for just £ 30.00 per person , £ 5 supplement at weekends .
The Club House is also open to hire for all occasions from weddings to birthdays . We cater for up to 80 seated guest and 200 for a standing function .
