tansfeld Oxford and Bermondsey FC is based at the Metrogas Sports Ground Marathon
Playing Fields on Avery Hill Road in London and their first team currently competes in
the Premier Division of the Kent County Premier League. They are led by the team of President
Brian Almond and Chairman Ian Rooney and the club has made a considerable amount of
progress under their guidance.
They enjoyed plenty of success last season
as their first and second teams combined
to win a Hospital Charity Cup double.
Their first team beat Seven Acre and
Sidcup in the final whilst their second
team overcame Sutton Athletic Reserves
in style, running out winners by four
goals to nil.

That was not the only success for the first
team either as they also won the Kent
Reliance Intermediate Challenge Shield.
The triumphs that the club achieved last
season were a just reward for all of the
hard work that went into making them a
success and the current group of players
will be keen to build on this over the
coming years.
So far this season their first team has made
a steady start to their league campaign,
putting together a record of three wins,
a draw and two defeats from their six
league matches. This has left them sitting
in the top half of the table with ten points
on the board.
