considerable amount of progress under
their guidance. They are affectionately
known by their supporters as the
Westenders.
Last season proved to be a campaign
to remember for everyone involved
with the club as they manager to clinch
promotion by finishing in second place
in the league. Over the course of the
campaign they compiled a record of
seventeen wins, three draws and two
defeats from their twenty two matches
to finish with a total of fifty four points.
They will now be turning their attentions
towards making sure that they do well
in their 2017 campaign. As long as they

are able to retain their current group
of players and can perhaps make one
or two quality additions they should
have nothing to fear from their new
surroundings.
So far it would be fair to say that they
have not enjoyed a perfect start in their
new league, losing two and drawing
two of their first four matches. There
is a confidence amongst the players
that they have the ability to turn things
around however.
A couple of victories would see them
quickly climb the table however and
as long as they can get a win on the
board soon they should be able to
have a successful season. It is never
easy to settle in a new league but as
they get used to the increased level of
competition results should definitely
improve.

same manner they should be able to
look forward to a bright and successful
future for many years to come. Everyone
