4 The most ice cream scoops thrown and caught in one minute The largest bowl of pasta The record for most ice cream scoops thrown and caught in one minute by a team of two is 25, achieved by Gabriele Soravia (thrower) and Lorenzo Soravia (catcher) (both Germany), on the set of Guinness World Records - Die größten Weltrekorde in Cologne, Germany, on 1 September 2007. 5 The largest bowl of pasta weighed 6,253 kg (13,786 lb) and was made by Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant (USA), at the chain’s Anaheim restaurant, Garden Grove, California, USA, on 12 March 2010. To successfully set a new record the chefs had to fill a 4.57 m (15 ft) by 106.7 cm (42 in), 15,142 litre (4,000 gal) portable swimming pool. It took 5 people a total of 120 hours to call all the pasta for the attempt, which was then delivered in 11 separate pallets. 37.85 litres (10 gal) of tomato sauce was later added to the pasta.ไ 6 The most expensive non-jewelled chocolate egg The most expensive non-jewelled chocolate egg sold at auction for £7,000 ($11,107) and was created by William Curley, Amy Rose Curley, Alistair Birt, Sarah Frankland, Melissa Paul, Rhiann Mead (all UK) and Suzue Curley (Japan). It was sold at the Royal Courts of Justice, London, UK, on 20 March 2012. The chocolate egg named the ‘Golden speckled egg’ was made with Amedei Chocolate and edible Gold leaf and filled with couture chocolate and truffles. The egg was decorated with 12 smaller chocolate eggs, 20 mini chocolate bars and 5 white flowers, and took over three days to make. The egg was estimated to weigh over 50 kg (110.23 lbs) and was approximately 107 cm (3 ft 6.13 in) tall and 54 cm (1 ft 9.26 in) wide. The egg was sold in aid of The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt as part of World Record London.
