It just seems like yesterday though that I was writing my welcome note for the 2018 Inside Track! The quote “time flies when you are having fun” definitely applies to Foodmate! As I reflect back on 2018, I can only conclude that it was our most exciting and successful year in our short company history. Foodmate Netherlands has moved into its brand new, 130,000 sf (12000m 2 ) state of the art global headquarters and manufacturing center. And Foodmate US has just completed a 30,000 sf (2800m 2 ) building expansion. Our continued commitment to innovation has been a significant contributor to our record sales in 2018. Since we have introduced the ULTIMATE Whole Leg Deboner during IPPE 2018, we have successfully installed 50 machines around the world of which 22 in the United States alone! Foodmate continues its expansion, adding another 30,000 sf to its headquarters in the U.S., and the brand new 130,000 sf headquarters in Holland, is now open! 04 Intelligent Thigh Deboning with x-ray technology and Cut-up line integration. 06 OPTiX 10 ULTIMATE The Intelligent Whole Leg Deboner, whole leg deboning with surgical precision. Also on display this year will be the ULTIMATE Whole Leg Deboner, the Max 6000 Breast Deboner and we will introduce TraySort. TraySort is a collaborative development between Foodmate and Intralox to provide a solution to help reduce packaging waste, improve grading accuracy and reduce labor cost in tray pack operations. The system combines advanced vision technology based on ChickSort grading software and the Intralox AIMS Conveying System. 14 MAX6000 Breast cap and/or front halves deboner that allows for highly efficient breast deboning with the advantage of the smallest footprint available on the market. The ULTIMATE Whole Leg deboner marked the introduction of a new generation of Poultry Deboning Equipment by combining durable mechanics and X-Ray Technology. Combining this technology helps our customer’s ongoing labor challenges and provides a very high and consistent yield.
