Further details can be found on page 25. The department is working hard to achieve its vision of “Communities for all: opportunities for everyone”. For our most vulnerable people, this means having access to the critical services and support they deserve to lead fulfilling lives. The Commonwealth and South Australian Governments recently signed an agreement to the full roll-out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in this state. This means that from July 2018 the scheme will be open to all eligible South Australians aged up to 65 with a significant or profound disability. I hope you enjoy the latest edition of Focus.
