Meet Ups
RBA Membership hosts its first meet ups in Accra and Nairobi
As part of the growing RBA
Membership and the development of
a community of bankers worldwide,
we’ve recently had the privilege of
hosting the first of our worldwide
RBA Membership meet ups for RBA
Members and their retail banking
colleagues. The first was held in
Kenya over breakfast at the Hilton
hotel in Nairobi, and the second in
Ghana, this time as an after-work
social evening at a café in Accra.
Over 30 members were able to
network and discuss the challenges
and opportunities in their local
markets as well as consider the
impact RBA Membership has had
on their careers so far. The meet
ups were successful, with attendees
praising the content and depth of
discussions taking place, along with
the CPD opportunities presented by
RBA Membership.
Off the back of the event, our
Members in each country now have
a WhatsApp group where they’re
able to continue the discussions and
stay in touch with each other. It’s
also been requested that there are
further, more regular meet ups in
the future to help solidify the strong
foundations
RBA
Membership
has built in each country. We’ll be
hosting more meet ups in the future,
with our next scheduled meet up in
South Africa.
